# Idea2Code > A mobile app from Atomos Technologies OPC Private Limited for commissioning custom software. A client > describes what they need built, receives a written quotation, signs the agreement > in the app, and then follows delivery task by task and milestone by milestone. ## Status - Not yet released. Coming to the Apple App Store and Google Play. - The website at https://idea2code.org is a pre-launch page. ## How it works 1. Raise a software development request describing the project, with attachments. 2. Receive a written quotation covering scope, cost and timeline, usually within 24 to 48 working hours. 3. Read and sign the agreement in the app. 4. Follow tasks, milestones and invoices as work proceeds. Approve each stage. ## Commercial terms - Projects are billed in instalments agreed in the proposal, not in one payment. - Each instalment has its own trigger and due date, set out in the proposal before you sign. - Prices are exclusive of GST and any local levies, which are payable by the client. The tax is shown on the payment screen and on the invoice. - Clients are quoted and invoiced in their own currency. - Source code, assets and documentation transfer to the client on final payment. ## Who builds it - Atomos Technologies OPC Private Limited - Atomos Technologies HQ, Kolkata, West Bengal, India - care@idea2code.org ## Questions and answers ### How do I get a quotation for my idea? Raise a software development request from the + tab. Describe what you want built, and attach anything that helps: a sketch, a document, screenshots of a system you like. Then submit it. Our engineering team reads every request and comes back with a written proposal. ### How long does a quotation take? Most proposals reach you within 24 to 48 working hours. A request that spans several systems, or one that needs a call before we can scope it honestly, can take a few days longer. You will hear from us either way. ### What happens after I accept a proposal? You will be issued the agreements to read and sign in the app. Once those are signed and accepted, your project opens up: tasks, milestones, delivery dates and the payment schedule all become visible under Track. ### How does payment work? Your project is billed in instalments rather than one lump sum. The instalments and their dates are agreed with you in writing before work starts, and each one is invoiced on its own date. Those dates are fixed when the schedule is agreed, because they hold the team and the calendar we have reserved for your build. Delivery runs alongside them: if we fall behind, that is a delivery matter and your agreement sets out what happens, and if we are waiting on something from you, your dates do not move either. Ask us before you sign if any instalment date does not suit you, and we will look at it then. ### I am not in India. What currency am I charged in? Yours. Quotes and invoices are shown in your own currency, converted at the reference rate on the day the invoice was issued, and that rate is printed on the invoice so the amount never moves after the fact. ### Can I change my mind about a requirement mid-project? Yes, and most projects do. Ask for changes on the task or milestone under review and the team will come back with what it affects, cost or dates or both, before anything is committed. ### Who owns the code you write for me? You do, on full payment. Source code, assets and documentation are handed over in a repository you control. The specifics are set out in your agreement. ### Do you maintain the software after delivery? We do. Support and maintenance are quoted separately from the build, so you can decide after delivery rather than committing up front. ### How do I track what is being built? The Track tab shows every request you have raised and, once a project is open, its tasks and milestones as they move. You will get a notification whenever something is ready for you to look at. ### Is my idea kept confidential? Yes. Everything you send us, including the summary, your attachments and the discussions, is treated as confidential, and our agreements cover it in writing. Ask for an NDA before you share anything and we will issue one. ### How do I raise a problem with the app or my account? Submit a support ticket from this screen. You will see its status here as we work through it, and the actual back-and-forth happens over email or a call, whichever you prefer. ### How do I delete my account and my data? Delete Account, at the bottom of this screen, erases your personal data under the DPDP Act 2023 and GDPR right to erasure. Records we are required by tax law to keep are retained without your personal details attached.
